Welcome
As most of you know, the Visiting Nurse Foundation, a non-profit organization, has provided accessible and affordable community-based services in our region for many years. Under its new name, Health Hope Network, the organization will continue this valuable work by continuing its FLU B•GONE program (the largest flu-shot program in Allegheny County) and the Stroke Survivor Connection Program (a free tri-county support program for stroke survivors). Health Hope Network will continue to leverage the spirit of service that sparked the visiting nurse movement more than 80 years ago to serve the unmet community health needs in Allegheny and surrounding counties.

Now Is the Time to Donate!

In honor of Memorial Day and National Stroke Recognition Month, Health Hope Network is beginning our annual Spring Appeal. In these tough economic times, we rely more than ever on your donations. No donation is too small. All donors will be recognized at Health Hope Network events throughout May. Special thanks to stroke survivor Alita Naylor and her husband Mark for sharing their story with our supporters in this year's letter, and for their generous donation towards postage for the mailing.
