New Name ~ New Era ~ Same Mission
Visiting Nurse Foundation
September 28, 2006
Tradition. Service. Healthcare. Community. These attributes have defined and epitomized the Visiting Nurse Foundation since the early 1900s. The VNF’s long-standing mission is to provide accessible and affordable services to the needs of seniors and at-risk populations in Allegheny County. Our services — the Fight the Flu campaign and Stroke Survivor Connection program — have combined healthcare with the spirit of community to benefit thousands of people in need.
It is with these passionate convictions we enter a new era, and we invite you to participate in the unveiling of our new name, which better reflects who we are and what we do today. We are thrilled to present an identity that combines the accomplishments of our history with the excitement of furthering our contributions in healthcare to the people of this region.
Please join us as our guest on Thursday, September 28, 2006 for a media event unveiling the new name of the Visiting Nurse Foundation.
Remarks to the media will begin at 9:30 am in the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Museum, 4141 Fifth Avenue, Oakland.
Please RSVP by September 15 to rsvp@vnf-pittsburgh.org.
