Support Group Leaders Needed

Stroke Survivor Connection (SSC) is hiring caring individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of stroke survivors as Group Leaders of stroke survivor support groups in Allegheny County. SSC Group Leaders provide a unique model for stroke therapy by helping stroke survivors strengthen their minds, bodies and spirits through physical and mental exercises in a friendly, social setting. Pay is $15/hr. Operated by the Health Hope Network, SSC offers paid training. Background in nursing, social services or education is helpful but not required. Basic computer and telephone skills are required.

With a minimum commitment of just six hours per week, SSC group leadership can occupy your spare time, supplement your income, and enrich your life in more ways than you can imagine!
