Since 1991, the Health Hope Network has provided over 265,000 vaccines for flu and pneumonia to residents of Western Pennsylvania. Over 17 years of existence, the flu shot program filled an unmet need in the community; the need for readily available, affordable flu shots at varied public and private locations. Over the past few years, private companies have stepped in to fill that need and we feel that our resources can now best be used elsewhere. Therefore, Health Hope Network will not be sponsoring the FLU B•Gone program in the 2009 season.
