Louise Dobbins, RN, MHA

Louise Dobbins, RN, MHA began her career in 1992 as a nurse in the Cardiovascular ICU in the St. Francis Health System in Pittsburgh. She went on to a position as Outreach Coordinator of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care, while continuing direct medical support for patients as a nurse. In 2001 she moved to Galway, Ireland, where she was Coordinator of Cardiovascular Services for Galway Regional Hospitals. In 2004, she returned to Pittsburgh to become the Director of Quality Improvement Initiatives for the American Heart Association. In 2007 she became the Project Manager for Quality Improvement for UPMC Health Plan. Ms. Dobbins received a BA in Public Management and MA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Ireland in Dublin.
